Back to Basics: 5 Everyday Bras You Need In Your Drawer
Hello the T-shirt bra AKA the everyday bra!
There are many bra styles that one would need to make up their collection and the t-shirt bra is definitely one, and I think, it’s one of the most important ones – since you get the most wear out of them.
Now everyday t-shirt bras vary depending on what you are looking for. (Here is a great read to discover the different bra styles and a little more about lingerie.) But basically, there are moulded t-shirt bras, balconette, plunge and even lace ones can be considered t-shirt bras … it’s true!
Lace t-shirt bra
For instance, Cassiopee by Empreinte is a seamless full cup lace bra that is completely smooth under your top. I know … surprising!!! The beautiful embroidery lies flat against your skin and looks completely smooth under any top. The colour tone is also neutral and could easily become your next to-go bra!
Seamless t-shirt bra
Next is our cult favourite the Chantelle C-Magnifique. It has so far become a favourite among our customers. The fit alone is what appeals most when someone tries it on for the first time. The wide bra band gives you a smooth finish look. And the fact that it’s completely seamless, full coverage and it has double-lined mesh adds to the overall appeal.
Spacer moulded t-shirt bra
Now there are two spacer cup t-shirt bras that definitely make up our top list: Simone Perele Caresse and Corin Virginia. First off, the Caresse 3D is a plunge style bra and contrary to popular belief a moulded cup does not add additional volume to the bust. Especially soft space foam cups offered by these two brands.
Virginia by Corin is also made of the same airy knit fabric that allows your skin to breathe. The comfort of these two t-shirt bras is absolutely amazing! You have to try one on to feel the difference.
Balconette & plunge t-shirt bra
And finally a balconette to-go t-shirt bra is the Marie Jo. This style gives you an amazing lift and the straps are so adorable. They’re decorated with small daises *swoon* This bra also converts into a halter giving you a nice alternative option to wear with your tops. Marie Jo Avero also has plunge and heart-shaped style t-shirt bras spoiling us for choice!
So when we say basic bras we don’t mean the boring kind. As you probably noticed from our back to basics list, these bras are not only practical but beautiful as well. And we think that’s a great combination. Don’t you???
